Ilia Beriozchin
Graphic Designer focused on posters & editorial design
I have finished a new original poster. Sometimes, an artistic vision is stronger than its creator. In this poster, I wanted to somehow subvert the concept of memento mori and unite death and life, with life literally bursting from the womb of a corpse. I spent about a week thinking it over and sketching. The image kept transforming and developing, flowing from one form into another. I was ready to give up and throw in the towel. But I managed to realize my idea, even if not completely. I realized that my absolute favorite part about creating posters is this struggle with the image, with this creative flow.
