Ian is ready for their next project!
For this challenge, I used figma to construct pitch decks for feature films that I'm pitching on. I have to say, the results we're stunning. Not only did it provide amazing design, it also used logic to help with the nature of how the films should be pitched and what to expect in terms of budgeting as well as interpreting the general narrative.
For the workflow, I provided the script, a very rough treatment and some imagery to work from for look and feel. From there, it was fine tuning back and forth.
What was amazing was to watch the thought process involved as Figma went through a;; the data. We are in a new era. And one that brings creative ideas to life faster than ever.
I am nothing short of blown away with the level of quality and in depth knowledge it brought to the projects. I tend to make independent films with a quirky edge (along with design and commercials). I can't believe how far figma has come. thank you Contra for this contest! Normally I would be in Indesign or google slides for weeks to get anywhere near this quality. 😃

Doing Charitable work is always rewarding no matter what. For this one, several short films were done for The Solutions Project: geared towards hiring and installing solar projects in certain areas in NYC.

Experiential Projects are always fun. With a lot of challenges. This one involved a 5 city tour for Ben & Jerry's. With events specific to each city. Most importantly, I made sure we captured it properly, so, the even can live forever.

This was an amazing, though, very difficult project. Anthem films are some of my favorite things to make. The challenge: make a chainsaw blade company heartfelt, authentic and interesting. It took a lot of editing and a lot hard shoots in the middle of the back woods (those drone shots we're not easy as flying through massive trees aren't easy :).
