Beergang was a stylized NFT character project by Goodganglabs, launched on DOSI and sold out during its release. I helped shape the visual world of Beergang by developing character personalities for different species, visualizing their traits, and creating animated behaviors that made the IP feel more alive. My work included character animation, rigging, lighting, rendering, and editing across music video-style content, social clips, promotional marketing assets, and interactive web experiences. I also created scroll-triggered character animations for the Beergang website, adapting the rigging and animation so the characters could move dynamically within the web experience. I also directed the overall music video production, from concept and storyboard to layout, animation direction, visual mood, and final edit. Beyond video content, I worked on a web-based avatar communication experience for NFT holders, collaborating with developers on STT-based interaction, ARKit-driven lip sync and facial expressions, and UI-triggered character animations. The goal was to let holders communicate through their own avatars in a fun and expressive way.

Nal Nani is a stylized character created as an AI avatar for a kiosk experience. For this music video-style piece, I handled the full creative and production pipeline, from concept, storyboard, rigging, animation, and layout to lighting, compositing, and final editing. The goal was to give Nal Nani a stronger character identity beyond the kiosk interface, making the avatar feel more expressive, playful, and memorable. I focused on bringing the character’s personality to life through posing, timing, camera movement, stylized motion, lighting, and edit rhythm.

A branded Instagram promo reels for MOMMYSON’s pop-up event, combining live-action footage with 3D animation. I worked on the 3D animation, rigging, simulation FX, HDRI-based lighting, and live-action compositing. I also created the falling glove simulation and matched the 3D lighting to the real footage so the CG elements felt naturally integrated into the scene. The goal was to create a short, eye-catching social promo that felt playful, branded, and believable within a live-action environment.

A kiosk-based AI avatar experience designed for real-world customer interaction. I handled the character motion side of the kiosk experience, including rigging, triggered animations, and animation planning based on the customer order flow. I also helped design the conversation scenarios, deciding what kinds of character actions were needed at each step of the kiosk interaction. For lip sync and facial expression, I created ARKit-based resources so the avatar could follow TTS speech naturally while still keeping the character stylized, cute, and not overly realistic. Since Nal Nani was designed as a character-driven avatar, I focused on making the motion feel expressive and approachable without becoming too visually busy inside the kiosk interface. I also created waiting screen animations that would catch customers’ attention before they started using the kiosk. The goal was to make the avatar feel alive inside the screen, while keeping the motion clear, friendly, and comfortable to watch. For the voice system, I also recorded around 30 hours of voice data for Nal Nani’s voice training. This project also includes waiting screen animation work for The Venti, a large café chain brand, where the avatar was used in an AI voice ordering test.

A selection of studio animation work from animated series projects, including LEGO Ninjago and 44 Cats. For LEGO Ninjago, my role focused on character animation, working on performance, timing, and action clarity within a production pipeline. For 44 Cats, I worked on both layout and character animation, including camera staging, scene layout, character performance, and readable motion for story-driven scenes. These projects represent my experience working in a professional animation studio environment, collaborating within structured pipelines and delivering polished animation for broadcast-style content.
