Amiee Studios - Brand Founder Story Film From Story to Screen The Objective: To translate a founder's personal moment — a brother searching for the perfect birthday gift — into a cinematic brand film that positions Amiee as the go-to destination for premium, everyday gold jewellery. This study explores the intersection of emotional storytelling and deliberate visual pacing. The goal was to move away from traditional jewellery advertisements — overly polished, occasion-driven, cold — toward something personal, warm, and narrative-led. Every frame had one job: make the viewer feel the brand before they understood it. The Process: Story to Screen Narrative Architecture Story Mapping: Before a single cut was made, I mapped the founder's journey — from a personal gap discovered while gift shopping, to a family legacy spanning four decades in jewellery manufacturing, to the birth of Amiee. The edit follows this emotional arc beat by beat. Hook Engineering: The opening 3 seconds were treated as the most critical real estate in the entire video. The edit opens on the emotional core — a personal moment — before expanding into the brand story. Curiosity first, context second. Pacing & Rhythm: Each segment was paced to mirror the brand's identity — unhurried, refined, confident. No rushed cuts. No filler. Visual & Editorial Approach Founder-Led Framing: The video is built around the founder's voice and presence. The edit positions him as credible and relatable — a person the audience trusts, not just a brand talking at them. Brand Alignment: Every visual decision — colour treatment, transition style, text overlays — was calibrated to reflect Amiee's core promise: premium feel, everyday wearability. Product Integration: The three gold tones (Yellow Gold, Rose Gold, Champagne Gold) and the 9K/14K flexibility were woven into the narrative naturally — not as a product listing, but as proof of the brand's thoughtfulness. The Workflow Technical Breakdown Colour Grade: A warm, luxurious grade designed to make gold feel aspirational yet approachable — bridging the gap between high-end jewellery brands and everyday wearers. Kinetic Typography: Clean, minimal text overlays used at key narrative beats to reinforce the brand message without competing with the story. Sound Design: Subtle, emotive audio layering — music that builds with the story arc, rising as the brand vision is revealed. Retention Engineering: Pacing mapped to social-first viewing behaviour. Designed to hold attention on both short-form and long-form placements. The Outcome A founder-oriented brand film that gives Amiee a human face before it has a market presence. The video establishes trust, communicates brand values, and positions Amiee precisely where it needs to be — premium quality, personal story, accessible price point. This project demonstrates my ability to take a founder's raw vision and shape it into a cinematic narrative that builds brand equity from the very first frame.
