Design Crit — the full story (problem → solution → what I used)
For the Config Makeathon I built Design Crit — a feedback space for designers who work without a team.
The problem 🩶
You want feedback on a design — but it's too rough to post. Sharing unfinished work feels like posting a mistake. Dribbble is a gallery, not a crit. Friends say "looks great." AI checks your spacing but can't read intent. So the work that needs eyes the most gets none — and solo designers, freelancers and juniors are left guessing alone.
The solution ✦
Design Crit lets you post unfinished work with one clear question, and real designers answer — in a structured format (what's working / what to try), never a free-for-all comment box. No likes. No followers. No view counts. Posts live 72 hours, then quietly archive — so showing rough work feels safe, not permanent. AI is there too, as a second opinion: it reads the rules, the designers read the room.
What I used 🛠️
Figma Make — the working prototype
Figma's design agent — generating the sample UI and the design system
Google Veo — the product video
CapCut — editing the presentation video
And a lot of steering: small batches, clear references, anchored versions, screen by screen.
The whole journey is documented 📓
I built this fully in public — every day, every insight, every win and every wall I hit working with AI tools. The honest pluses and minuses of building with Figma Make and the design agent — where they shine, where they drift, and how to steer them — are all written up here:

Still proud of this one. Built by a designer who needed it.

Built a private memory app.
Constellation — for moments you didn't post, but want to remember.
No likes. No followers. Just a personal archive that turns your moments into a star map.
Studied the best dark UI patterns on Mobbin → designed in Figma → built in Framer
✦ save moments privately
✦ watch them form a constellation
✦ capture & share your year in stars
