I designed and built a new NYC subway map that changes and reroutes itself automatically in response to service changes.
Instead of reading about confusing service updates, the map shows the updates graphically by rerouting the lines.
I used Figma Make to build a custom map drawing and viewing tool and then used that to hand draw all 423 stations and 588 route segments for all the permutations of potential route changes.
All the stations and routes are connected to Google transit feed data from the Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) so the map is live and updates on its own.
The MTA text-based alerts are ingested, normalized and stored using Codex + Supabase before being drawn on the map.

:I made a dream recorder controlled entirely using hand gestures. Record your dreams by pinching the microphone with your hand and bringing it to your lips to speak, and it draws an artwork of it in 5 seconds, and then a video in 5 minutes.
Try it out: https://solarium.figma.site/
Scroll through your dreams by waving your palm to the left or right on camera. See it all in a card view by make a peace sign with your hand.
Requires a newer computer with graphics card to run, as well as webcam and mic access. Transcription of your dreams are saved but not PII.
Built using Media Pipe for gesture detection, Supabase for backend, ElevenLabs for voice, Kie AI for video, Fal AI for images, and of course Figma Make to hold it all together. If certain functions aren’t working, I might have run out of credits. Msg me and I’ll top it off.
