A few years ago I developed a conceptual branding project called SOF — Sisters Overpowering Fibroids — inspired by the idea of using thoughtful visual design to bring dignity, clarity, and community support to women’s health. It started as an exploration of how identity design could bridge the gap between healthcare language and real lived experiences, especially around conditions that are often dismissed or minimized. The project was later featured in PRINT Magazine (“SOF Is Bridging the Healthcare and Design Gap”), highlighting the potential of design to spark awareness and empathy around sensitive and under-represented topics.
