AI + Augmented Reality for Interactive Learning
I recently developed an educational project that combines Artificial Intelligence, 3D and Augmented Reality (AR) to transform traditional printed cards into an interactive learning experience.
The project was created for an elementary school's summer program, where students could learn about dinosaurs in a much more engaging way.
Each printed card includes:
• An AI-generated dinosaur illustration.
• A brief educational fact sheet with scientific name, classification, diet, size and geological period.
• A QR code that instantly launches an Augmented Reality experience, allowing students to see the dinosaur at life size using only their smartphone, no app installation required.
To make the experience more immersive, I used animated 3D models instead of static ones, so each dinosaur appears alive when viewed in AR.
Production Workflow
• Designed the educational cards using AI-generated artwork.
• Built a reusable prompt structure to maintain visual consistency across all five dinosaur cards.
• Optimized and hosted the animated 3D models on my own server.
• Configured the Augmented Reality experience using Google Model Viewer, enabling instant browser-based AR on both Android and iOS.
Why This Project Matters
One of my goals was to demonstrate that AI doesn't have to end with an image or a video.
When combined with 3D visualization and Augmented Reality, it becomes a powerful tool for creating interactive educational experiences.
Although this project was developed for education, the same workflow can be applied to:
• Product visualization
• Museums and exhibitions
• Interactive catalogs
• Marketing campaigns
• Trade shows
• Retail and e-commerce
• Corporate presentations
This project illustrates how combining AI, 3D and AR can turn static printed materials into immersive digital experiences that increase engagement and create memorable interactions.

Can AI Create a 90s-Style Toy Commercial?
I challenged myself to create a fictional 90s-inspired toy commercial for "Mi Primer Prompt (My First Prompt)", combining Creative Direction, 3D Modeling and Artificial Intelligence into a single production workflow.
Although the final piece is only 54 seconds long, it followed a production process very similar to a real advertising campaign.
Creative Process
🎵 I wrote the song lyrics and used AI to produce the music.
🎨 I developed the art direction, inspired by the colorful and over-the-top toy commercials of the 1990s.
👩🎤 I designed the main characters and created character reference sheets to maintain visual consistency throughout every scene.
🧸 Since the toy is the hero product, I first modeled and rendered it in 3D. The render served as a visual reference to keep the product consistent across all AI-generated shots.
🎬 Each scene was generated with AI, including accurate lip synchronization with the original song.
🎞️ The final edit and post-production were completed in Adobe Premiere Pro.
More Than AI
The most interesting part of this project is that AI wasn't responsible for the creative decisions.
The concept, storytelling, visual identity, art direction, character design, scene planning and product design were all defined before generating a single frame.
AI accelerated the production. Creative direction shaped the final result.
This project demonstrates how AI can become a powerful production tool when combined with concept development, storytelling, 3D visualization and a structured creative workflow.

AI VIDEOS: What if AI had a better starting point?
Instead of relying only on prompts, I often begin with a simple 3D animation to define the camera movement, composition, and timing. Then I use AI to transform that foundation into the final cinematic result.
This workflow gives me much more control over the final video while keeping the creative flexibility that AI offers.
In this post, I'm sharing both the simple 3D animation and the final AI-generated video so you can see how the process comes together.
It's a workflow that combines the precision of 3D with the speed and creativity of AI to produce advertising content with greater consistency and visual quality.
