I haven’t used Windows in years,
but I decided to build my personal website around a Windows 98 theme.
It brings back so many happy memories.

I built a crochet chart tool:
text pattern → visual chart → chart + instructions
One issue took me a whole day to fix, but it works now.
Feel free to play with it: https://grannysquarestudio.vercel.app/

The UI is currently a bit "rough around the edges" because I’ve prioritized the engine logic.
Progress update on Granny Square Studio: https://grannysquarestudio.vercel.app/
-Text -> Chart import is working!
-Mobile view added.
-UI/UX polishing is next on the roadmap.
It’s a classic case of function leading form. If you have any text-based patterns you want to visualize, give it a spin!

Just in case you need to create crochet pattern charts. I’ve built a tool for it.
It’s currently focused on granny square charts only.
Still a work in progress and looking for feedback.
Let me know if you’d like to try it and I can share the link.

Spent some time exploring Gemini 3 capabilities and ended up building a type design playground.
It’s called Modular.
You can create custom font styles based on a modular grid and export them for your designs.
Give it a spin and let me know what you think

Fully building this chemistry ion-matching game in Figma Make has been such a pleasant surprise. I created a 3-question quiz, and for the first screen I spent time refining the layout, sizes, and colors. For the second and third questions, I only gave simple prompts with very little detail, and it still produced solid designs. It’s been really fun to experiment with, especially since I didn’t even have a full logic plan at the beginning.
Now I’d actually recommend starting with the ideas you already have and doing a bit of logic testing first. Having a simple style guide before jumping into a visual-coding tool can save a lot of time.
Next step: refine the UI and start adding more fun, interactive features using the visual-coding tools.
