Day 1 Progress #FigmaMakeathon
Working on a dot matrix grid animator. I got this idea while working on a new product— an RO water purifier which has a dot matrix display meant to communicate feedback, information, delight, etc. My initial toolset was figma which was fast but didn't give quick motion preview, the other was AE but too slow and too heavy.
I thought of making a tool which allows me to do quick exploration, allows me to export raw json / code to quickly implement in code and see it on the product itself. Figma Make seems like a perfect tool for it.
Here's a preview of the tool. A lot to do, a lot to fix 🚀
