This morning I saw that Google has now included AI benefits to existing Google One members, so I decided to take it for a spin and the possibilities...
1. Tried the popular Twitter isometric city prompt, it's pretty cool - prompt in comment
2. Tried building a game idea around my last EP set in a Futuristic Lagos. I tried by describing it to Gemini via voice with mixed results. It worked well in beginning and I was able to be conversational, but the model increasingly failed toward the end and returned "I'm unable to help with that" errors
3. Continued building the game idea via text using the Thinking Model until I ran out of credits.
Results:
1. Basic character selection screen
2. Basic gameplay
3. Basic music integration

To showcase Afrotronica Display + create unique marketing content for my EP, I teamed up with my friend Simeon to create a "Star Wars Generator" where users could read stories about the Afrotronica World, create their own stories and share the music. Best experienced on mobile!

I'm new to Contra and taking a plunge off the deep end haha!
So here I'm sharing some icons made with #NanoBanana for a client project in Agricultural engineering.
As Agric. Engineering is a very technical field, my goal was to 'soften' the brand and make their website easy to understand at a glance, provide some SEO benefits and honestly just look pretty cool haha

While I was working on the visuals for my last EP, the AirBnB I stayed at in Lagos had such interesting shapes of the Plaster of Paris, doorframes and window bars.
They reminded me of buildings I had seen in Tallinn and Riga, and this feeling of towering confidence inspired by Brutal architecture. I designed this #font idea for the 'Department of Public Relations' in that fictional world, projecting a feeling of a world where things are engineered to machine-like precision.
I call it Afrotronica Display.

Every year for the past three years, I join a film competition in Sweden where teams of up to 4 have to shoot, edit and submit a film within 24 hours :0
Our short film Alex, (with a lot of polish after submission) is one of the things I'm most proud of contributing to. Featuring original music and score from my EP. Full list of credits at the end :)
