PAS Freight Quotation Generator — a single-file, no-install quoting tool covering Air, Sea FCL, Sea LCL, and Domestic Transport, each with its own theme, default charges, and terms, under one shared brand. Built for speed: searchable dropdowns across an 854-company customer/supplier database, drag-to-reorder charge rows, dual currency with smart ROE auto-fill (only applies when the row's currency actually matches the header), and a keyboard-first flow where Enter jumps fields and auto-adds new rows. Built for real daily use, not just a demo: everything autosaves locally as you type, a searchable Archive + Bin keeps every past quote without ever breaking under volume, and PDF/PNG export was tuned specifically to fix alignment and blank-page issues from earlier versions. Deployed as a static site — no server, no backend — so it just works as a live URL.

Cover image for PAS Freight Services Portal —
PAS Freight Services Portal — a shipment management system built to handle the operational reality of a multi-type customs/freight business. Rather than a generic dashboard, each shipment type (Freight, CHA Import, CHA Export, Transport) drives its own workflow — a dynamic step engine advances the progress bar automatically as a shipment's status changes, with every field inline-editable (click, edit, save on blur — no separate "edit mode"). Standout details: Gmail sending built over the REST API with OAuth2 instead of SMTP (Render's free tier blocks SMTP ports outright), sticky search/filter state that persists across navigation via sessionStorage, and type-specific Excel exports — each shipment type gets only its relevant columns, plus a summary sheet with status breakdowns. Customs-specific fields (BOE, Shipping Bill, DO Collection, OOC, Gate Pass, LEO) are tracked individually as the shipment moves through clearance.

Pas Freight Mailer
IN ONE PARA Pas Freight Mailer is a free, internal bulk-email tool built with Node.js, Express, and a Turso (SQLite-compatible) database, hosted on Render and deployed via GitHub, that lets Pas Freight employees log in with their own @pasfreight.com (http://pasfreight.com) Google account and send mass emails — rate sheets, notices, personalized client communications — directly through Gmail's API, so every email genuinely comes from that employee's own mailbox with no third-party sender involved. It supports simple bulk sends with smart messy-text email extraction, CSV/Excel-based personalized sends with auto-filled placeholders, automatic combining of recipients from the same company domain into one shared email thread, saved templates and recipient groups for reuse, scheduled sending, a rich text editor with images and attachments, and a dashboard with live delivery tracking, retry, and export — all built to run at zero cost using free-tier services and each company's existing Google Workspace subscription.

Cover image for PAS Freight System — an
PAS Freight System — an internal management platform for a licensed customs broker, covering the full shipment lifecycle across Freight Forwarding, Customs Clearance, Accounts, and Transport. Built with React 19, Node.js/Express, PostgreSQL (Prisma), and real-time updates via Socket.io (http://Socket.io). The standout piece: a custom Bill of Entry (BOE) PDF parser for India's ICEGATE customs documents. Naive PDF text extraction scrambles government table layouts, so I rebuilt it to reconstruct actual document rows from raw text coordinates, with a 3-layer fallback (digital text → pdf-parse → OCR) to handle scanned filings too — then auto-generates a branded Delivery Challan from the parsed data.
