Kin Resolve: a self-hosted web app for family-history research. It imports family-tree (GEDCOM) exports, sorts DNA matches, and organizes research cases. It only publishes profiles of deceased people that the owner chooses, after automated privacy checks. Built with Next.js, React, and PostgreSQL with vector search; the demo uses fictional data.

Verity: a calibrated forensic comparison engine. It compares 3D scans of bullets, cartridge cases, and toolmarks and reports a calibrated likelihood ratio instead of a yes/no "match." It's the production version of my PhD research: a Rust core with Python and R bindings, a FastAPI service, and a web app with a public benchmark leaderboard. The validation results, including where the method falls short, are published with the code.

erichare.me: my personal site, built with Astro, Tailwind CSS, and MDX, with social images generated at build time and free hosting on GitHub Pages. There's no database or plugins to maintain, and pages load fast. It's the same "site you never have to think about" approach we take at J&E Stats.
