As a video editor, I think map creation are one of the best things to make in After Effects. Sure some of them may take some time to make, but even the simples ones like these 2 that I made can have really nice results. Working with both overlays and textures adds a nice punch to it.

Getting out of your confort zone might be one of the best moves in Video Editing. Why?
This was about a year ago. The style, although simple, took a loot of time and effort to recreate.
I took inspiration on a video sent by one of my friends and on that day, that video inspired me to create this.
It was my first attempt at doing something completely different than usual, but it turned out actually great!
And the best part? I still delivered the video in time without any other revisions to make.

This is a re-edit I did for a creator not so long ago. Premium visuals not always mean more. Actually, most of the times it means less. In this video I've done a really simple motion with a limited use of colors and I think it turned out great.
