This graphic gives a glimpse at some of the work behind the scenes of some of the elements I hope to implement into some of my future media for my novel, Saylor. The image in the center puts the work being done for these props as the primary focus of the graphic. The color of the type was used simply to contrast the background color of the graphic and make it easier to read. The twinkles on the backdrop are used for something like an artsy, imaginative theme to go with the content of the post being the creativity going into making these props.

This graphic appeared on my Instagram story and on my LinkedIn feed. This graphic was used to market my writing and the progress of my current book project, Saylor. The decision of notes plays to the trend of anonymous notes sent to the protagonist throughout the story. The text and the colors also plays to the trend of the notes in the story. The trend is cut out brightly colored letters from magazines. The bright colors pieced together without a general pattern feed into this concept. The topic of this graphic revolves around the progress, including page counts, word counts, and the date it was accomplished.

The image was implemented into a video commemorating the completion of my MA. The color scheme plays to the colors of the school (red, black, and white). The graphics are also related to the subject of the image; the thunderbird in the bottom corner is the mascot of Southern Utah University while the graduate cap represents the completion of a master's degree.

The video commemorates the achievement of receiving my MA. The first clip represents the idea of the work that went into the degree over the last year. The second and third clip represent the meaning of the video. The second was the actual message saying that the Capstone was completed while the third acknowledges people who helped along the way and the personal feelings after completing the degree. The audio choice reflects on the idea of being courageous as I enter a brave new world of new choices.
