A cinematic AI video created as an opening sequence for a D&D campaign set in the mysterious desert world of Desertia. Murder in Oasis. Video was created with one promt with Seedance 2.5 model. The story begins with a classic film countdown before revealing a character observing a caravan traveling through a transparent desert pipeline. The atmosphere suddenly shifts into a noir-inspired murder mystery: a body is discovered, lightning illuminates the crime scene, and the question appears—“Who is the Killer?” A rapid suspect montage introduces each character with dramatic red titles before the camera unexpectedly turns toward a displeased camel—the final and most unlikely suspect. Thunder strikes, and the scene disappears into a storm of sand. I developed the visual concept, scene direction, pacing, reference-image composition, and AI prompts, combining fantasy, detective cinema, dark humor, and vintage film aesthetics into one cohesive narrative. 3,500 years later, we’re still talking about the lips. I turned a mysterious Egyptian sculpture fragment from The Met into a glamorous historical fever dream. The art object from The MET https://www.metmuseum.org/art/collection/search/544514 The sculpture’s identity is still uncertain, so I imagined two fashion-obsessed museum visitors arguing over who those iconic lips belonged to — Akhenaten’s mother, his wife, or maybe Akhenaten himself. The film mixes real museum history with Bratz-inspired characters, cinematic ancient Egypt, fashion, humor, and absurd imagination. The goal was simple: take an ancient object people might normally walk past and make it impossible to forget.
