This past summer, I helped bring GameRx.ca (https://gamerx.ca), a TELUS initiative, to life. A digital hub designed to promote wellness, balance, and community among gamers. The site blends clean design with smooth, game-inspired interactivity to make educational content engaging and accessible.
Working as a Creative Developer, I was responsible for:
Building the front-end architecture using React and Next.js, ensuring fast load times and responsive layouts across devices.
Implementing GSAP-driven animations and micro-interactions to create a polished, modern feel without compromising accessibility.
The result is a site that feels both playful and professional, aligning with TELUS’ mission to support healthier digital lifestyles within the gaming community. 🌈 Rebook-it.com (https://Rebook-it.com) – YWCA
Last year, I had the wonderful opportunity to help develop Rebook-it.com (http://Rebook-it.com) for YWCA, a public-facing campaign site created to restore visibility for important cultural and awareness events - including International Women’s Day, Pride Month, Black History Month, and more - that had been intentionally removed from Google Calendar.
As the Front-End Developer, I built the site using React, Tailwind CSS, and Vite, ensuring fast load times and a smooth user experience. The microsite allowed visitors to easily re-add these significant observances to their personal calendars with just a few clicks.
This project was especially meaningful, blending thoughtful advocacy with modern front-end development to help keep these vital dates recognized and remembered.
