I'm super late on learning data binding, so I built 12 different hover animations using data binding to make sure I really get the basics down. I also used a trick to make all the buttons change colors base on color selection. Test it or remix it for yourself - https://rive.app/community/files/25058-46777-buttons/

Day 2 of trying to find a client on Contra. Subtle animations elevate a website by adding life, clarity, and intention without overwhelming the user. Micro-interactions like smooth hover states, gentle transitions, and responsive feedback - guide attention and make interfaces feel intuitive and polished. Thoughtful loading animations play a key role as well, turning wait times into moments of engagement by reassuring users that something is happening behind the scenes. Instead of feeling slow or broken, the experience feels intentional and refined. When done right, subtle motion improves usability, reinforces hierarchy, strengthens brand perception, and makes a website feel modern, premium, and responsive rather than static or mechanical.

Afterlight — A Mindful Reflection App (UX/UI Concept) Afterlight is a concept app designed for quiet, unstructured reflection, designed end-to-end as my capstone project. When I started my research, I realized that most apps are focused on competing for users' attention. Even mental health or reflection apps have streaks, prompts, and notifications. I wanted to design something opposite – a space without pressure. The idea came from a simple thought: looking up at the sky has always helped us process big feelings, and it creates some sense of calm. So I decided to use the sky itself as the interface, making reflections not a list, but something people can discover slowly, like stars. The main idea is that people can explore the sky, pick a star they like, and write a reflection for themselves – or leave it anonymously for someone else who might discover that star later. Maybe not the strongest idea from a marketing perspective, but I still believe it has real potential ✨
