A Shopify theme I designed and built end to end, with conversion as the brief rather than something added at the end. Every section is hand-written Liquid with real schema settings, and that matters more than it sounds. When the merchant can change hierarchy, copy, and layout themselves, they can actually run tests. Hardcode it and every experiment needs a developer, so no experiments happen. No page builder either. That weight lands on LCP, and a slow page loses the buyer before the design gets a say. Aevum. Designed and built by one person. Want something like this for your store? Send me a message, happy to talk it through. Demo brand, real build. Here's a design question I've been thinking about: When does minimalism become too minimal? For VELA, I wanted to see how far I could push restraint without making the experience feel empty. So instead of adding more UI, I focused on making the existing elements matter more. Typography. Photography. Space. Movement. Every element has a little more room to breathe. The result is an architecture and interiors experience that feels closer to an editorial publication than a traditional studio website. 🔗 Live website: https://vela-studio-eight.vercel.app/ Built with Next.js, Tailwind CSS & GSAP Personally, I think the hardest part of minimal design isn't removing things. It's knowing what deserves to stay. Agree or disagree?

I made an app where you turn your days into flames. It's called Amber. I wanted something that captures the intensity of a day instead of scoring it, a quiet day isn't a failed day, it's just a quiet one. One question: How did your day go? You slide to the flame that matches, add a note if you feel like it, done in about fifteen seconds. A month later your calendar is a grid of flames you can actually feel. On the build: I made all five flame states in Figma Weave, and I designed every screen myself in Figma and handed it to Make through MCP. Try Amber: https://amber-app.figma.site (https://amber-app.figma.site)Figma community file: https://www.figma.com/community/file/1649128971567301375 Social post: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/kevinnkwok_configmakeathon-figma-figmamake-ugcPost-7473065471005794304-cNLR/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop&rcm=ACoAADdlQK8B1qbSyrKktjzva-q_3NUicLCvWQ8 Built for #ConfigMakeathon

I kept running into the same thing: brands with a playful, funky personality — and no template that matched. You'd find a layout you liked. But the mascots, the illustration style, the whole vibe? Someone else's brand, not yours. So I built Hey Patty to fix that specifically — a full illustrated brand system, plus the exact prompts to regenerate every mascot in your own style. One template. Same as your brand, not someone else's. Grab it now only $69 → https://contra.com/payment-link/q9TMpLVD-hey-patty-restaurant-brand-template

Built a booking app for Kang Dedi, a one-man AC technician in Bandung (fictional client, very real problem). Every booking used to be a WhatsApp marathon: "how much?", "which day?", "what time?", "send your location". Around 10 messages per job, answered at night after work. Then his days zig-zag across the city, and sometimes he shows up to an empty house because the customer forgot. So I turned the whole chat into one link: ✅ Pick your neighborhood, you only see days he's already around (mornings in your area, afternoons in the center) ✅ Price and time on site show up instantly, only slots where the whole job actually fits ✅ Booked in about a minute, with a ticket and the exact WhatsApp confirmation ✅ Reminder the evening before: still on, or reschedule? No reply gets flagged for him ✅ Someone cancels? The slot goes straight to the next person on that area's waitlist ✅ Review request goes out after the job, on its own ✅ His whole day on one map, plus the week, the waitlist and every message sent Ngl the fun part was the scheduling rule. My first version literally put him in two places at once, took a couple of rounds to get it right (the process video shows the whole thing, bugs included). Try it: ademservice.lovable.app (http://ademservice.lovable.app)Owner view, no login: ademservice.lovable.app/demo (Messages are simulat:ed in the demo, production would go through the WhatsApp Business API.)

Form / Field — Architecture Website Concept Form / Field is an independent website design concept by Kreovanta for contemporary architecture and interior design studios. The goal was to create a confident, editorial presentation that lets the architecture lead. Bold typography, generous whitespace, an ink and cobalt palette, and large architectural images establish a clear visual identity. The concept explores a homepage, a detailed project page, a studio and approach page, and mobile layouts. The visitor journey moves from discovering selected work to understanding the studio and starting a conversation. My role covered visual direction, page structure, interface design exploration, and portfolio presentation. The six visuals show the proposed desktop and mobile experience alongside its design direction. This is a self-initiated concept project, not commissioned client work. The visuals are AI-assisted mockups; a functioning website has not yet been developed.
