Tangle & Whisper: Casefiles | 2D Fan Animation Category 2D Animation • Fan Animation • Storytelling Description Tangle & Whisper: Casefiles is a fan-made 2D animated short inspired by the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series. The project follows Tangle the Lemur and Whisper the Wolf in an original scene that focuses on character interaction, cinematic storytelling, and expressive animation. Using Adobe Animate for animation and CapCut for editing and audio synchronization, I created a polished sequence that combines dynamic character movement, scene composition, and sound design. My goal was to capture the personalities of these established characters while practicing professional animation workflows and improving my storytelling techniques. Throughout production, I focused on smooth animation, clear staging, expressive poses, lip-sync where applicable, timing, and editing to create an engaging viewing experience. This project is a non-commercial fan animation created for portfolio and educational purposes. Sonic the Hedgehog, Tangle, and Whisper are the property of SEGA.

Dragon Duel: Original 2D Animated Short Category 2D Animation • Character Animation • Storytelling Description Dragon Duel is an original 2D animated short that I created using Adobe Animate and edited in CapCut. The animation features two original dragon characters, Boulder and Spire, engaged in a fast-paced battle, focusing on expressive character acting, dynamic action, and cinematic storytelling. From initial planning to the final edit, I was responsible for every stage of production, including storyboarding, character animation, scene composition, timing, and video editing. My goal was to create an exciting sequence that showcased believable movement, impactful combat choreography, and each dragon's unique personality through animation. Throughout the project, I emphasized animation principles such as anticipation, timing, squash and stretch, follow-through, and strong posing to create fluid, engaging action. Careful camera composition and editing helped enhance the pacing of the fight while drawing attention to key moments in the story. This project reflects my passion for character-driven storytelling and demonstrates my ability to create original animated content from concept to completion.

Silver the Hedgehog | Dynamic (Fan-Art) Illustration: This illustration was created as a tribute to one of my favorite high-potential Sonic characters while challenging myself to produce a high-energy action composition. My primary focus was dramatic foreshortening, expressive posing, and visual effects that emphasize Silver's psychic abilities. The project allowed me to experiment with stylized rendering, layered lighting, and energetic brushwork while staying faithful to the character's recognizable design. Fan art projects like this are an excellent opportunity to continue refining my illustration skills and explore dynamic compositions inspired by video games.

Surge the Tenrec – Valhalla Costume Concept (Fan-Art): This illustration reimagines Surge the Tenrec from the Sonic universe as a Viking-inspired warrior. Rather than simply drawing the existing character, I wanted to explore costume design by combining familiar character traits with Nordic-inspired armor, fur accents, and dual battle axes to create an alternate interpretation. The project emphasizes character redesign, prop design, and visual storytelling while maintaining the fast-paced energy associated with the Sonic franchise. Designing alternate outfits is one of my favorite ways to explore how clothing, accessories, and weapons can communicate a character's personality and background.
