Description

Dragon Duel is an original 2D animated short that I created using Adobe Animate and edited in CapCut. The animation features two original dragon characters, Boulder and Spire, engaged in a fast-paced battle, focusing on expressive character acting, dynamic action, and cinematic storytelling.

From initial planning to the final edit, I was responsible for every stage of production, including storyboarding, character animation, scene composition, timing, and video editing. My goal was to create an exciting sequence that showcased believable movement, impactful combat choreography, and each dragon's unique personality through animation.

Throughout the project, I emphasized animation principles such as anticipation, timing, squash and stretch, follow-through, and strong posing to create fluid, engaging action. Careful camera composition and editing helped enhance the pacing of the fight while drawing attention to key moments in the story.

This project reflects my passion for character-driven storytelling and demonstrates my ability to create original animated content from concept to completion.
