Brand & UI/UX Designer — Design + Web Development

A LinkedIn carousel post designed for handdii, a company expanding across 11 U.S. states. The goal was to visually communicate their growth and service areas while maintaining their brand identity—using their signature green (#00FF99), supporting colors, and a clean, modern layout. I incorporated the 2-letter state abbreviations (CA, TX, OH, GA, etc.) into the design, creating a map-like visual that immediately conveys the company's reach. The carousel structure allowed me to present the key message—operating in 11 states with more expansion coming—across multiple slides, keeping each one clean, scannable, and on-brand. The design uses bold typography, consistent spacing, and a professional tone suitable for LinkedIn's audience, without relying on the logo since the post was published from the company page.

A trade-show flyer designed for Builder Backup Mortgage, a brokerage that provides financing solutions when a builder's in-house lender can't close the deal. The goal was to create an eye-catching, professional 8.5" x 11" flyer that communicates a clear, powerful message: "We help builders sell more homes." The design focuses on credibility and urgency—featuring a client list, key selling points, and clear contact information—while maintaining a clean, structured layout suitable for both print and PDF distribution. I used bold typography, a refined color palette, and strategic visual hierarchy to direct attention to the builder's core benefit: increasing sales and closings. The refreshed design incorporates the client's new logo and retains the required disclaimer and contact details, ensuring compliance while elevating the overall brand presence.

I designed a modern, clean, and uplifting website for The Creek Pub and Grill, a restaurant situated within a prestigious golf club community. The primary challenge was to transform their existing online presence into a vibrant, standalone digital storefront that captures the warmth and energy of a premium pub experience—rather than feeling like an overlooked amenity page attached to the golf club. To achieve the client's specific request for a 'clean and happy' aesthetic, I built the layout around a bright, airy framework with generous white space, allowing the content to breathe. I balanced warm, earthy tones with vibrant accent colors (such as fresh greens and sunny yellows) to evoke positivity and stimulate appetite appeal. While the client allowed the use of stock imagery, I carefully selected high-quality photos that showcase the restaurant's inviting ambiance, signature dishes, and craft beverages to establish an immediate emotional connection with hungry visitors. The user experience was prioritized throughout the design. I ensured that the menu, operating hours, and contact/reservation details are prominently positioned above the fold, minimizing friction for potential guests. The visual hierarchy was carefully structured to guide the eye smoothly from a welcoming hero banner down to the restaurant's key offerings, encouraging casual visitors to convert into confirmed diners. The final design successfully bridges the gap between a casual, energetic pub atmosphere and the refined expectations of a country club clientele. It positions The Creek Pub and Grill as a must-visit dining destination, packaged in a scannable, high-converting, and genuinely 'happy' visual layout.

This project was a custom hand-drawn invitation design for a West Coast, lowrider-themed baby shower. The core challenge was beautifully balancing two seemingly opposing worlds—the gritty, nostalgic aesthetic of 90s car club culture (lowriders, oldies, hydraulics, and cruising) with the soft, joyful innocence of a baby celebration. I leaned heavily into a hand-drawn illustration style to capture the authentic vintage feel of classic lowrider artwork. The composition centers on a lovingly detailed lowrider, but instead of standard rims, I infused baby elements—like a tiny rattle dangling from the rearview mirror and a crib-shaped 'bed' in the back—to bridge the two themes perfectly. I used a warm, sun-soaked West Coast color palette of pastel pinks, blues, and creams, contrasted with deep blacks and chrome greys to keep the 'car club' edge intact. Typography was crucial; I paired a bold, graffiti-inspired script for the title ('Cruisin' into Parenthood') to capture the urban vibe, with a clean, readable sans-serif for the event details to maintain clarity. I carefully laid out all the supplied verbiage ('Rims, rides, and rattles') using a classic cruise-night poster layout, ensuring the flow felt like a vintage event flyer. The result is a nostalgic, humorous, and deeply personal invitation that makes the parents-to-be feel seen as a couple, while celebrating the exciting journey ahead into parenthood—proving that even a baby shower can have serious street cred.

Stays Worth Remembering Travel Company Logo Design 2026. The idea behind this logo was to create a visual identity that instantly communicates comfort, memorable experiences, and destination-based stays in a clean and meaningful way. The mountain element represents travel, adventure, peaceful escapes, and beautiful destinations. It gives the brand a sense of exploration and unforgettable journeys. The house placed in the center symbolizes comfort, hospitality, safety, and the feeling of being “at home” no matter where someone travels. The wave element was added to represent relaxation, premium vacation experiences, and destinations connected to nature, lakes, beaches, or peaceful environments. Together, the mountain, home, and wave create a complete story of travel and memorable stays. For the typography, I used a bold and clean font to make the brand look professional, trustworthy, and easy to recognize across both digital and physical platforms. The word “REMEMBERING” uses a softer gold tone to create a warm emotional feeling and reinforce the idea that these stays are not just accommodations, but experiences people will remember for a long time. The green color palette represents nature, growth, relaxation, and trust, while the blue wave adds freshness, calmness, and a travel-inspired feeling. Overall, the logo was designed to feel welcoming, modern, memorable, and versatile for signage, branding materials, business cards, websites, and mobile applications.

Project Title: Jenn Floyd Photography — Premium Visual Identity System Role: Brand Designer & Strategist Services: Brand Identity, Custom Lettering, Visual Strategy The Overview Many independent creatives compete on price because their visual identity relies on standard, off-the-shelf fonts. For the Jenn Floyd identity system, the objective was clear: skip the generic templates and build a bespoke, signature-driven brand that instantly positions the photography studio in the premium market. The Strategic Process True brand strategy lives in scalability. A premium identity must transition seamlessly across vastly different mediums without losing its core DNA or visual impact. Phase 1: Raw Sketching: Developed using graphite to map out organic weight, authentic line thickness, and typographic rhythm. Phase 2: Digital Optimization: Refined into a high-contrast digital vector optimized as an editorial watermark for low-light photography and high-res mobile interfaces. Phase 3: Physical Touchpoints: Engineered with precise line weights to translate flawlessly from luxury blind-embossed packaging to backlit storefront signage. By focusing on custom craftsmanship rather than fleeting design trends, we created a cohesive visual system that intentionally drives up perceived market value and consumer trust. Project Deliverables Custom Signature Wordmark & Secondary Sub-marks Comprehensive Brand Identity & Typography System Multi-Medium Asset Optimization (Digital Watermarking, Print, & Signage) Production-Ready Packaging Assets (Blind Embossing Specifications) Tools Used Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Procreate Tags & Skills brand identity, logo design, visual identity, custom lettering, typography, packaging design, creative direction, brand strategy, vector illustration, art direction, luxury branding

A brand either commands attention or begs for it. This one commands. Rising Concept is a photography brand identity built for creatives who take their craft seriously and want their visual presence to match. From the first glance — deep forest green, linen texture, white embossed script — it communicates quality without explanation. The logo is the anchor. Hand-script lettering flows into a precision camera icon, mountains nested inside the lens like a hidden story. It's the kind of mark that works on a business card, a portfolio cover, a website header — anywhere it lands, it holds. The hardcover portfolio isn't just packaging. It's positioning. Clients touch it before they trust you. That moment matters more than most designers admit. Every choice here — color, texture, type, layout — was made with one question in mind: does this earn confidence? The answer is on the cover. #BrandIdentity, #LogoDesign, #PhotographyBranding, #VisualIdentity, #CreativeDirection, #PortfolioDesign, #FreelanceDesigner, #ScriptLogo, #BrandStrategy, #CreativeStudio

Luxury Brand Identity System for a Premium Event Planning Business PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Mynt Events is a premium event planning business built around moments that matter — proposals, curated celebrations, and experiences where every detail is considered and nothing is left to chance. The founder came to me with a business that had already outgrown its brand. The work was operating at a premium level. The identity wasn't communicating that yet. The brief was clear: build a complete brand identity system that positions Mynt Events as the obvious choice for clients who already know what they want and are deciding who to trust with it. The Strategic Starting Point Every decision in this project started with a single question: what does a client need to feel the moment they encounter this brand for the first time? For Mynt Events, that feeling needed to be confidence. Trust. The quiet certainty that this is a business that handles things properly — that the moment they're planning will be in the right hands. That emotional target shaped every mark, every color choice, and every surface application that followed. The Logo The primary mark is a signature script logo with a leaf detail structurally embedded within the letterforms. The script was chosen deliberately — in the events industry, clients are trusting you with moments that cannot be redone. A signature communicates personal commitment. It feels authored, not assembled. The leaf element does secondary brand work quietly. It signals organic intention, care, and attention to detail without requiring explanation or a separate icon. The underline sweep grounds the composition and gives it the horizontal confidence it needs to hold across wide-format surfaces — packaging lids, signage panels, and environmental applications where a floating mark would lose presence. A monogram M was developed as a secondary mark for applications where the full signature loses legibility at small scale — product labels, cap patches, and interior packaging details. The Palette Gold and black. Not chosen for trend. Chosen for emotional function. Gold carries warmth, occasion, and perceived value — the feeling of something worth celebrating. Black carries authority, precision, and restraint — the feeling of a business that delivers without drama. Together they position Mynt Events exactly where it needs to sit: celebratory but controlled, personal but professional. The palette was tested across matte, gloss, foil, backlit, and fabric applications to confirm it held integrity across every surface in the system without compensation or adjustment. The Full Identity System Every deliverable was designed as part of a single coherent brand expression — not a collection of individual design tasks, but a system where every piece reinforces every other piece: — Primary signature logo and monogram secondary mark — Full brand palette and typography hierarchy — Premium gold foil business card — Luxury magnetic gift box with full interior branding — Ring box and product packaging application — Branded tote bag — Apparel — t-shirt and structured cap with patch application — Backlit environmental signage panel — Digital UI and mobile wallpaper application The Result A brand identity system that closes the gap between what Mynt Events delivers and what a client sees before they ever make contact. The brand now works at a proposal ring box and a storefront signage panel simultaneously — with the same presence, the same authority, and the same unmistakable identity at every scale. That's not styling. That's positioning. And positioning is what turns a great business into the obvious choice. Signature Brand Identity System for a Photography Business PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Jim Gower is a professional photographer who needed more than a logo. He needed a complete brand identity that could represent his work at every level — from a business card handed to a client after a shoot to a lightbox sign above a studio entrance. The brief was clear: build something that feels personal, premium, and immediately recognizable as belonging to one person and one vision. The Approach Every decision in this project started with strategy before it touched aesthetics. Who is Jim Gower to his ideal client? What feeling should someone walk away with after their first encounter with his brand? What does premium mean in the photography space right now — and how do you stand apart from it without alienating it? The answers shaped everything that followed. The Work The primary logo is a signature script with the camera body structurally integrated into the letterforms — the "G" in Gower becomes the lens housing, making the mark read as both a name and a profession without requiring a separate icon. The script carries energy and movement, referencing the intuitive, fast-moving nature of working photographers. The crimson brand palette was selected for emotional weight — confident, warm, and saturated enough to hold presence across both physical and digital surfaces without compromise. The full system was then applied and stress-tested across every client touchpoint: — Primary and secondary logo variations — Brand color palette and typography system — Business card design — Premium gift box packaging — Tote bag and apparel — Digital UI mockup for web and mobile — Environmental signage and lightbox application The Result A brand identity system that positions Jim Gower not as a photographer with a logo, but as a brand with a presence — one that commands attention, communicates quality instantly, and scales from a phone screen to a storefront without losing a single point of its power.
