MC Displays is a UK-based retail display company specializing in mannequins, retail displays, mannequin hire, renovation and shop fitting solutions. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 The existing website needed a clearer structure and better user experience. Beyond the redesign, the business also needed custom booking systems for its renovation and mannequin hire services without adding expensive third-party apps. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈 𝐃𝐢𝐝 I redesigned and developed the Shopify website using custom Liquid sections based on a custom demo design i made which was approved by the client. I then built two custom systems around the client's workflow: 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 (Custom booking functionality tailored to their renovation service). 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 (Custom hire functionality allowing customers to book mannequin products directly through the website). 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (Automated repetitive tasks to reduce manual work and simplify booking and enquiry management). 𝐎𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 (Continued monthly development, troubleshooting, improvements and technical support).
