Cover image for Río Tinto, Huelva Personal project Río Tinto
Río Tinto, Huelva Personal project Río Tinto in southern Spain looks like another planet: highly acidic waters, iron-rich soil, and thousands of years of mining that have reshaped the land. NASA even studies it as a Mars analog. This wasn't a commission. I simply went to look, and this series is what I found by getting closer: cracks that read like maps, crusts that echo aerial views, a scale that dissolves. What looks like rusted rock from afar can, up close, become a river, a delta, an entire territory. I'm sharing it because it shows how I see: patiently, with attention to texture and color, looking for the abstract inside the real.

FRG-MN-TS: Detail Photography of a Live Cinema Performance Photographic series documenting the analog instruments and objects behind FRG-MN-TS, a live cinema piece by Kansas Anymore that blends analog instruments, performance and live music into a space of attention and contemplation. My role: photography at Casa de Socorro, Málaga, in collaboration with LCAmálaga and Promálaga. I focused on the tools and materials of the piece, plus one frame of the projection with the performer. I also filmed the full performance; video coming soon. Creative team: Pedro Lopey: video animation Martina Álvarez: performance Nuria Luq: musical composition Javier Lopez: visual concept

Portraying Caro R.D. through contrast — frozen moments and deliberate blur, stillness and motion. Nothing accidental, everything in service of capturing who she is. These images are part of a larger project — a video collage combining photography, stop motion and video. You can find it on my profile. Photography & creative direction — Antea Haauk
