I have recently been researching the origin of life, a true mystery we still seek the answer to, and was inspired by that search when making this ad. I chose Nike for Morphic’s challenge because throughout the evolution of sport, they have been iconic, leading the charge into the future. Nike’s most powerful storytelling celebrates motion as transformation: the drive to become something greater. This ad explores movement as the origin of becoming — beginning before form itself. It builds from primal beginnings to modern speed, ending with a cosmic scale that frames human striving as universal. Visually I wanted it to be cinematic, emotive of Nike’s style of ads. Using minimal text and supporting music to drive the storyline & accentuate the visuals, with emphasis on the sound of a human heartbeat like an ancient, living drum.

🌍 Wild Earth filmed in Sora | Journey Earth contains an extraordinary range of ecosystems that stretch from tropical rainforests to polar ice, from coral reefs to high mountain forests. This film travels across multiple regions of the planet, following wildlife and landscapes that shape the living systems of our world. The journey begins in Botswana’s Okavango Delta where seasonal floodwaters support elephants, hippos, crocodiles. Across the Pacific Ocean the Galápagos Islands reveal volcanic landscapes where giant tortoises move slowly across arid terrain while marine iguanas gather along lava shorelines. Patagonia stretches across windswept plains and glaciers at the southern edge of South America, while Antarctica presents a frozen world where penguins, seals, and whales occupy the cold southern ocean.
