Looking back, working on Hewwi project brought me the most joy ever. Back in 2024, Zain (prev. @Canva Subscriptions Mgr) reached out to me to design the branding for Hewwi. After designing the Hewwi brand identity, we focused on the journal design itself. In the video attached, you'll see the Hewwi App, designed based on the visual identity. The best reward was seeing @Ben Huffman meet Zain and seeing the journal itself IRL(see pic in the replies). For this project, I used Adobe Illustrator, Figma, and Jitter to showcase the work. 🌸 Artificial Nature — Animated Poster for My Future Virtual Flower Shop So here we go — After generating the flower image in Midjourney (https://www.midjourney.com/explore?tab=video_top), I turned it into a video 🎥 Then drew an emblem inspired by its geometry in Procreate (https://procreate.com/) (maybe my future virtual flower shop logo? 👀), exported it to Photoshop, did the final layout in Illustrator, and added a quick fade-out in Jitter (https://jitter.video/?noredir=1). Oh god… how many tools did I just use? LOL 💻✨ But honestly — it was totally worth it watching this idea bloom 🌼 Sometimes as a designer, it’s just nice to create something purely for myself — no briefs, no pressure, just joy🤪🤪

I love a great mockup, but I see the same ones pop up over and over again. Designers know when a mockup is great, so we jump on it! To counteract that overuse, I've been creating my own mockups with MJ & Nano Banana. These are some of my favourites. Prompts: A small white plastic jar of cream is placed on top of moss and rocks, with a light grey and beige background. The product photography uses studio lighting and high-resolution photography, with a soft focus and soft shadows. Neutral colours are used, with nature-inspired imagery of organic forms and earthy tones, including green and green flowers. Obviously, the words/text are not it yet, but I go in and edit the raw file after anyways ;)

In another life — well, about 4 years ago — I was the brand designer for a web3 NFT project, and I have never bragged about it. I'm about to! The story was incredible, one guinea pig 🐹 trying to escape a laboratory to find his love, which was taken for testing. Along the way, he meets 7 other characters who try to overthrow the lab. —PT 1 (I have more visuals I want to share! Why only 4 Contra? ;))

Persistent upgrade button animation Designed to demand attention without overpowering the rest of the UI. Small touches are often the biggest differentiator in interaction design. The right animation can guide attention gracefully. Too much and it feels cheap, too little and it goes unnoticed. Timings and subtlety tend to be all you need to nail a delightful moment. In this instance, we aimed to pepper the CTA through the product experience. In features where users could be 'powered up' to complete their tasks. Because of this, keeping the animation subtle reduces the intrusiveness and pressure a user could otherwise feel. No one likes someone standing over their shoulder. Completing tasks within the app with a more pressuring animation would have felt like an unnecessary tension. Keep in simple.
