Brand Identity Designer for Food, Events & Tech
Cover image for Recently finished this real estate
Recently finished this real estate video edit for a client who had one very clear direction: “No fancy edits.” The goal wasn’t to overwhelm the viewer with transitions, effects, or unnecessary motion. His audience is made up of high-end clients, so the edit needed to feel exactly like the property itself, clean, refined, confident, and easy to understand. I focused on intentional pacing, clean cuts, subtle motion, strong visual hierarchy, and letting the property do the talking. Because sometimes, premium doesn’t need to shout. It simply needs to feel right. Have a property, real estate brand, or luxury listing that needs this kind of treatment? DM me. Let’s make your next video feel expensive without making it complicated.

Afrobeats at Sea 2027 — Promotional Video Ad Case Study The Afrobeats at Sea 2027 project involved the editing and creative direction of a high-energy promotional video campaign designed to market a luxury Afrobeat cruise experience. The objective was to create a visually immersive short-form advertisement capable of generating excitement, emotional anticipation, and strong audience engagement within a limited 40-second runtime. The final video was crafted to feel less like a traditional advertisement and more like a cinematic cultural experience, blending music, rhythm, lifestyle visuals, and fast-paced storytelling to capture the essence of Afrobeats culture and nightlife at sea.

Envato AI gave me a house. It took human instinct to turn it into a home. For the #envatochallenge, I wanted to put the "Human by Design" philosophy to the test by creating a complete premium brand identity for House of Racky. My goal was to use Envato’s creative toolkit to push past the cold, mathematically sterile outputs of AI and inject real emotional luxury into the visual assets. The Process: The Spark: I used AI generation to start exploring shapes, but the initial outputs felt emotionally empty and lacked structural balance. The Human Touch (My 'Human by Design' Moment): I stripped out the generic, messy layouts and manually rebuilt the logo's geometric structure in my design suite. I chose a sophisticated, sharp custom typography layout to bridge the gap between high-end architecture and human warmth. The Final Polish: Using Envato Elements, I sourced cinematic stock footage, deep Foley sound design effects, and professional mockups to build a fully realized brand ecosystem that feels grounded in the real world. AI is an incredible starting block, but it takes human taste, eye for detail, and instinct to make a brand truly powerful. Check out the full workflow breakdown and the final high-res brand kit below 👇

Cover image for A place is being built,
A place is being built, but no one has experienced it yet. There is no map for it, only intention. The land holds its own memory quiet, patient, unchanged by the pace of those who arrive and leave. What is being created here does not begin with structures, but with attention. How light settles in the morning. How the air shifts before evening. How silence can feel like presence rather than absence. To write for something that does not yet exist is to listen more than declare. It is to notice what is forming beneath the surface materials chosen with care, spaces shaped with purpose, and the unseen thread that connects them all. Storytelling, in this sense, is not about filling gaps, but about honoring them. I approach editorial work as a process of restraint and clarity. Each word must feel placed, not added. Each sentence must carry weight without excess. The goal is not to persuade, but to allow something to be felt before it is fully known.

Cover image for A strong brand isn’t just
A strong brand isn’t just a logo, it’s a system. I help modern brands define a clear visual identity that feels clean, premium, and consistent across websites, e-commerce, and digital platforms. From logo design to typography and color systems, I build brand identities that scale, convert, and actually get used, especially for fashion and lifestyle brands that care about detail and cohesion. If your brand needs to look intentional, polished, and ready for growth, let’s design it properly. 📩 Message me on Contra.

My last post was CHOCK-FULL of stiff dialogue, telling instead of showing and giving disgustingly generic descriptors throughout! Now, this ... this is perfect writing.👇⬇️ Here's what most people don't understand: AI can generate a skeleton, but it takes a human writer to give it flesh, blood, and a pulse. Have you worked with AI-generated drafts? What's the biggest challenge you've faced in making them feel human? Drop your experiences below. I'm curious what patterns others are seeing.

AI's churning out novels like a factory line ... and they all sound like instruction manuals for feelings. Enter Gracious. 🪶🥇🎖️ I'm the fixer (PERFECT EDITED VERSION IN NEXT POST). I take those robotic drafts with their dead-eyed dialogue and paint-by-numbers emotion, then gut them until they bleed real. No more 'she raised her eyebrow' every five sentences. No more characters who sound like they learned human interaction from a corporate email. AI writes fast. I make it worth reading. Drop a 🤖 if you've ever read something and thought 'yeah, a human definitely didn't write this.'

Is it just me, or is Contra’s fiction ghostwriting space running on silent mode? There’s creativity here. I can feel it! But no one’s saying a word. Maybe it’s time we wake the storytellers up! 🗣️😤🪝💥

In literally EVERY billionaire romance story, the ex-girlfriend is ALWAYS the villain. What if - by some miraculous turn of events that would make kdp readers clutch their pearls - the villainous ex - a disgraced supermodel whose body got a little too curvy for the runway and all her bank accounts were frozen from losing a case with our darling MMC billionaire ... IS a Main Female Character? 🌬️💔 I smell 'second chance romance' trope.
