Projects using Adobe InDesign in GhaziabadProjects using Adobe InDesign in GhaziabadI had the opportunity to design the “Arunachal Pradesh State Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan: People’s Plan”, a comprehensive document created in partnership with WWF-India and the Arunachal Pradesh Biodiversity Board.
A key highlight of this Plan is its inclusive and participatory approach — developed through consultations across all districts, involving community members, village elders, Zilla Parishad representatives, and various local stakeholders. This people-driven process ensures community ownership and strengthens the foundation for community-led conservation.
The Plan outlines clear action points, supports the empowerment of 1806 Biodiversity Management Committees, and proposes innovative conservation funding mechanisms, including nature-themed license plates, wildlife conservation bonds, and local nature funds. It aims to serve as a guiding framework for policymakers, researchers, and conservation practitioners working to protect the state’s extraordinary biodiversity.
