One More Coffee is a short American romance film about Ethan and Maya, two strangers who meet by chance in a small coffee shop in New York City. What begins as an awkward encounter slowly develops into a genuine connection through shared moments, laughter, late-night conversations, and an unexpected friendship that becomes something deeper.
Just as their relationship begins to grow, Maya receives an opportunity that takes her to Chicago. With only a few days before she leaves, both of them are forced to confront feelings they never had the courage to express.
Their goodbye at the train station becomes the emotional turning point of the story. Ethan arrives just before Maya leaves, but instead of asking her to stay, he gives her the photograph he took of her when they first met—a simple reminder of the connection they shared.
Three months later, Maya unexpectedly returns to the coffee shop where their story began.
The same question is asked.
The same table is waiting.
But this time, neither of them is willing to walk away.
One More Coffee is a story about timing, vulnerability, and the idea that sometimes love doesn't need everything to be perfect, it just needs two people willing to choose each other. – Nostalgic & Candid Storytelling Style:
I created a short sample edit showcasing how I approach unscripted, memory-driven footage.
In this piece, I focused on:
Nostalgic Pacing & Textures: Blending candid video clips, ripped paper transitions, polaroid collages, and soft filmic textures to create a warm, memory-book feel.I wanted to make it feel as memorable and fun as possible since we all know how nostalgic high school can be
Personality & Emotion: Layering real, unscripted moments—laughter, waves, hugs, and raw reactions—over music to tell a story driven by genuine connection rather than rigid staging.
Creative Transitions: Crafting dynamic visual compositions and split-screens in Premiere Pro to keep the pacing lively and engaging. Bringing Children’s Stories to Life Through Video!
