I almost didn't post this. Not because it's bad. Because it's personal. There's no client name attached. No brand guidelines I followed. No Slack thread with 47 rounds of feedback. Just me, a blank canvas, and a feeling I couldn't explain in words. So I designed it instead. Here's something nobody warns you about when you become a designer: the more client work you take on, the further you drift from the reason you started. You get good at solving other people's problems. You forget what your own creative voice sounds like. This piece brought it back. I sat down with zero expectations. No moodboard. No Pinterest tab with 200 pins. I just started moving shapes, pulling colors, trusting my gut. And somewhere between the third iteration and the fifth coffee, something clicked. It felt like the first time I ever opened a design tool and thought, "I could do this forever." If you're a creative who hasn't made something purely for yourself in a while, this is your sign. The goal of the project was to create a visually engaging and concise video that showcases the Social media campaign message in a clear, impactful way—optimized for social platforms to boost brand presence and audience engagement. From raw footage, I handled all aspects of post-production, including: Clean cuts and flow optimization On-brand text overlays and callouts Dynamic transitions and pacing Platform-specific formatting (vertical for Instagram, optimized LinkedIn version) Color correction and audio refinement The final result was a polished, professional video tailored to both personal branding and social media strategy—helping their business and connecting with their target audience, and enhancing their online presence.

I focused on keeping the energy high with quick cuts, strong rhythm, and vibrant visuals that highlight the product and brand personality. The final video successfully captured Alex Castro’s energetic and confident brand image — perfect for use across their social media campaigns and website promotions.

The design brief was simple: make people want to book a table before they finish scrolling. Deep forest green hero with bold retro typography. Warm cream sections that feel as inviting as the dining room itself. Opening hours, a structured menu with pricing, food photography that earns its placement, and an about section that gives the brand a personality before a guest ever walks through the door. Truffle risotto at $24. The burger is at $28. Every dish is presented with the same care the kitchen gives it.
