The best kind of portfolio update is seeing the work keep working!! Last year, I helped build the foundation for Sleep or Die (https://contra.com/p/mWXgcXE7-sleep-or-dietm-or-brand-strategy-and-development-web-design?referralExperimentNid=DEFAULT_REFERRAL_PROGRAM&referrerUsername=georgiamashfordcreative), from brand strategy and identity to creative direction and photography. 🤯 Just this week the brand has gone on to receive $1M in funding, and I’ve been seeing accounts with 75K–100K+ followers sharing the brand and some of the photography I created in those early stages. While the brand has evolved since my initial work with them, it’s a nice reminder that the early stuff matters. The strategy, the visuals, the tone, the way a brand shows up before most people know who they are; it all becomes part of the foundation. Very grateful to have played a role in getting this one off the ground!!

As the creative on this project, I got to build this brand from the ground up; brand strategy, positioning, identity, packaging, website, AND the brand photography. The whole damn thing! A brutally honest, anti-traditional, brand that is here to shout from the rooftops how important sleep is, but in a *cool* way. Every detail was designed to feel real, raw, and self-aware. The brand has now been featured in numerous press and articles talking about the approach, and how they've stood out in the sleep and wellness space. Sleep or Dieâ„¢ (https://sleep-or-die.com/) is one of those projects that reminded me why I love what I do. Still one of my favourite projects to date.

Sharing my latest Beauty project. This promotional video for Santorini Grape cream was created to capture attention and evoke emotion. Rather than focusing on product features, the goal was to create associations with desire, pleasure, deep hydration, and the sensory experience of skincare. One thing that matters most to me in my work is realism. I want the visuals to feel so natural and believable that the viewer never stops to wonder whether they're watching AI or live-action footage. Instead, they stay fully immersed in the story, the atmosphere, and the emotions the video is meant to convey. That's the direction I'm continuing to explore with AI filmmaking.

A vertical adaptation of my project The Way, edited into 90-second reels for Instagram. The Way (https://on.contra.com/9wHtP9) is an AI-driven fashion film that explores the duality of light and dark through a high-fashion visual narrative. The goal was to reinterpret mythic themes of unity and transformation via generative media. I developed the concept, visual style, full script, character and environment design; generated all imagery and animation using AI; produced voice-over, lip-sync, original music, and final edit; and refined each scene iteratively to achieve consistent tone, motion, and emotion.

A vertical adaptation of project Twins, edited into 90-second reels for Instagram. Twins (https://on.contra.com/wtDzfL) is a short film inspired by the parable of two embryos speaking in the womb, reflecting on faith, trust, and what lies beyond birth. The goal was to reinterpret this allegory through minimalist cinematic storytelling powered entirely by AI generation. The solution involved using AI tools for video generation, character animation, and sound production. I developed the visual style, managed soft lighting and textures, composed the script, generated the imagery and animation, produced voiceover and lip-sync, fine-tuned sound and timing, and delivered a cohesive, emotionally rich film experience.
