A women-focused gym in
Case Study A women-focused gym in Las Vegas wanted to deepen member retention and make the “between sessions” experience feel just as supportive as the gym floor. The challenge wasn’t motivation alone but time, mental load, and consistency, especially for members juggling work, parenting, and unpredictable schedules. Many women were trying to stay on track, but the gap between intention and action was happening in the small moments: not knowing what workout to do, feeling too overwhelmed to start, or falling back into convenience eating when the day got busy. To solve this, I’m building them a mobile app (iOS + Android) that makes progress feel simple, guided, and emotionally supportive with a specific focus on women and mothers. Rather than cramming in features, the app is designed around the real behaviours that drive results: quick workouts that fit real life, calm nervous system support, positive identity reinforcement, and easy nutrition choices. The biggest friction point in fitness apps is choice overload, too many options leads to doing nothing. So the fastest friction remover is a one-tap “Do This Now” plan The app recommends a workout, a short meditation, and a simple meal option based on the member’s available time and energy level (including a dedicated Mom Mode path). It turns the app into a daily guide, removing the thinking and replacing it with action. The gym gets a member experience that feels personal and supportive beyond the building, and members get a system that meets them where they are, with structure, calm, and progress they can actually maintain.

Cover image for Dug an old concept draft
Dug an old concept draft out of my digital archives this morning, one of those ideas that felt like futuristic when I first sketched it out years ago. Back then, the concept was simple on paper: walk down any high street, snap a quick photo of a local business storefront, and instantly generate a real-time digital maturity score, pinpoint operational friction points, and craft a tailored outreach pitch on the spot. At the time, visual AI was clunky, mobile edge processing was too slow, and natural language models weren't nearly nuanced enough. It felt like an over-engineered pipe dream. Fast forward to right now: with multi-modal vision models, location APIs, and modern cross-platform mobile architecture, the technical barrier has completely collapsed. What used to require complex computer vision pipelines can now run seamlessly in a native mobile app. How the workflow breaks down: Snap the Storefront: Capture a photo of a physical business to pull its visual footprint and lock in live GPS coordinates. Instant AI Audit: Vision models evaluate the storefront visual data alongside location signals to return a digital readiness score (0–100) and highlight key vulnerabilities (e.g., missing app presence, low local search visibility, manual booking friction). 1-Tap Pitch Dispatch: A personalized cold outreach email is pre-filled automatically and ready to send via the device’s native share sheet. Sometimes the best software ideas aren't brand new, the technology just finally caught up to the vision. What’s an old project or "future concept" sitting in your drawer that’s suddenly 100% buildable today?
