I just wrapped up this 3D muffin study, and the most interesting part wasn’t the modeling... it was the finishing. I couldn’t get the raisins to fuse perfectly into the mesh inside Blender without overloading my PC, so I approached it like real production work: solve what you can in 3D, finish the rest in post. 1) Floating raisins done with curve guide + particle system 2) Fog glow, lens distortion, color balance and multiply in compositing 3) Two renders blended together for the best parts 4) Final realism added in Photoshop by painting contact shadows and color grading for warmth They’re about knowing how to combine tools to get a believable final image. I ended up trying some other effects like the frosty glass and dry brush paint effect, couldn't decide, so here they all are.

Instead of a polished tutorial, I uploaded a 4-hour, real-time Blender modeling session of a cassette player... completely unedited and with no commentary. You’ll see the full process: mistakes, corrections, pauses, rethinking proportions, and figuring things out as they happen. I left it this way intentionally to show what 3D modeling actually looks like behind the scenes. It’s rarely perfect, and that’s okay. What matters is the ability to adjust, learn, and keep going. One of the beautiful things about 3D modeling is that there’s never just one “right” way to achieve a result. Much Better Adventures (Travel & Booking Web Optimization) The Goal: Redesign and optimize a dynamic booking website for an eco-friendly adventure travel brand to make finding and booking outdoor trips effortless. What I Did: Created a highly engaging, modern layout using WordPress. I placed an exciting hero video background at the top fold and set up an organized, visual grid underneath so users can instantly browse trips by continent (like Europe, Asia, and Africa). The Optimization: Placed a bright green, high-contrast action button ("View All Adventures") right in the center to guide users into the booking funnel. Added an explicit trust bar at the top ("Excellent 5-star rating") to instantly ease booking hesitation. The Result: A clean, exciting, and highly functional travel platform built to boost user engagement and turn casual explorers into active trip bookers.

Should a brand’s website just look clean, or should it feel like a lifestyle? When I designed the web experience for Sincerely Jules (https://sincerelyjules.com/) using Figma and WordPress, I knew a rigid, corporate layout would be the wrong answer. Editorial lifestyle brands don't just sell products or content they sell moments, routines, and a specific aesthetic. Inspired by high-end print magazines and the art of romanticizing the everyday, I wanted the digital identity to feel fluid, intimate, and effortless. By blending elegant serif headings with delicate, hand-drawn script typography, the design invites users to slow down rather than speed through. That is what makes Editorial Minimalism so powerful. It moves away from generic, boxy web frameworks and leans heavily into curated whitespace, intentional typography, and asymmetric balance. It forces the layout to breathe, making the content feel premium and human. In an era of hyper-optimized, templated landing pages that all look the same, do you think this editorial approach is the key to building true brand intimacy online?
