So I built an alarm app that doesn't let me snooze my way back to sleep. 😴 Meet Yawn - an alarm clock that forces you straight into your morning routine the second it fires. Jumping jacks first (motion tracked, no faking it), then timed tasks one by one until your morning is actually done. Fall back asleep mid-routine? It rings again. No mercy. Built for the @figma Config Makeathon — from FigJam sketches to Figma Make prototypes to a real working app via Figma MCP + Claude Code. The whole workflow is in the video. 👇 Still mid-flight on getting Apple's approval to make it ring like a true alarm instead of a notification, but the core experience is alive and I've been testing it on myself every morning. From there, I brought the designs into Claude Code and continued building inside Xcode to turn it into a functional iOS app. The goal wasn’t full automation, but testing how AI handles structured design systems, where manual development is still needed, and how much faster prototyping can become with the right workflow

The workflow involved a full cycle of design and development: initial concept and visual design in Figma, creating a responsive Webflow landing page, integrating QR code functionality for instant contact access, and adding vCard download for quick addition to any device. Key interactive elements include click to call and email buttons, a clear about section with professional credentials, services overview, and a visually structured layout that emphasizes trust, credibility, and ease of use. The project highlights the practical application of UX/UI principles to solve real world problems: professionals often struggle with efficiently sharing their contact details in a way that is both elegant and functional. This digital business card provides a solution by bridging physical and digital interactions. Users can scan a QR code from printed business cards, instantly access the digital version, and save contact information without manual typing. ⚠️ Important Note: This is a demo and case study. All client specific data has been anonymized, and proprietary information is protected under NDA. The example demonstrates workflow, design decisions, and the functionality of a high-quality digital business card without revealing sensitive information.
