This illustration was created in the very first days of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, for DOXA’s Anti-War Handbook — a guide that helps people speak to relatives, friends, and coworkers about the war. The article provides 17 responses to the most common arguments used to justify violence. I illustrated one of the emotional and often painful dialogues in my expressive sketchy style — fast, raw, and human. The goal of this artwork was to support those who face difficult conversations and to help bring clarity and compassion to anti-war dialogue.

Editorial Illustrations – DOXA Journal “BPD Can’t Be Treated, and You Shouldn’t Date People With It?” This project features a cover illustration and two supporting images created for an article in DOXA, an independent Russian online magazine. The article aims to debunk common myths about Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) — including the harmful assumptions that it’s untreatable or that people with BPD can’t build relationships. I created the illustrations in Procreate, working in my own expressive style. The visual language reflects emotional tension, fragility, and inner complexity — supporting the article’s goal of offering a more compassionate and honest perspective. Each illustration is hand-drawn with a focus on symbolism and mood, balancing softness with sharp emotional undertones.

Editorial Illustrations – DOXA Journal “We Must Record for Historians What Is Happening in Russia” This project features a cover illustration and several editorial artworks created for an article published by DOXA Journal. The text gathers voices of Russian documentary filmmakers speaking about their work after the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. My task was to find a visual language that would reflect the weight of memory, the fragility of truth, and the act of documenting reality in times of crisis.
