OMGGG!! Why is Squarespace sooo easy to use?? 😭 I genuinely opened it thinking I'd have to spend hours figuring everything out, but it was the complete opposite. This was literally my first time using it, and I had to record the whole experience because everything felt so smooth and surprisingly satisfying. Safe to say... I had way too much fun building this. 🤍

Why look for a business to transform, when I was already struggling to grow one of my own? The #GiveItAGlow challenge felt like the perfect opportunity to help a real local business grow. And then I thought—why look elsewhere when I’m an independent artist trying to build one myself? The Story — From scattered DMs to Sanidos Sanidos is my independent art and commission business. Before this build, potential clients discovered my work online, but managing the business meant endless DMs, repeated pricing questions, manual enquiries, meeting coordination, deadlines, progress updates, and scattered client information. I didn’t just need a prettier portfolio. I needed a better way to run my art business. So, with Base44, I built one. The Product — Enter the Gallery. Make It Yours. Sanidos is now a live, published, and mobile-responsive digital art studio built entirely with Base44. Visitors can experience my work through four distinct artistic worlds—Chandai, In Motion, Odyssey, and Tailored—before moving seamlessly from discovering my art to commissioning something of their own. It is not a prototype or a mockup. It is the new digital home of the art business I am actively trying to grow. The Automation — More time for art. Less time on admin. Underneath the immersive gallery is a connected commission-management system. Clients can enter their requirements, estimate commission prices, submit enquiries, book meetings, receive automated email confirmations, and track the progress of their artwork. On my end, every enquiry becomes easier to manage through a private Admin Dashboard that brings together leads, commissions, appointments, messages, deadlines, revenue, and business insights. What was once: DM → repeated questions → manual scheduling → scattered information → constant progress enquiries is now: Discover → Estimate → Enquire → Notify → Approve → Schedule → Manage → Track → Deliver. The Impact — Building the business I want Sanidos to become This challenge gave me the chance to solve a problem I experience firsthand: the more time an independent artist spends managing the business, the less time they have to create. Base44 helped me build more than a beautiful website. It helped me connect my portfolio, customer experience, automation, and business management into one working system. What began as a glow-up became the digital infrastructure for the art business I’m trying to grow. I didn’t just build Sanidos a better website. I built myself more time to create. Cover image for Be honest. You've wanted to
Be honest. You've wanted to bang your head on the desk at least once today. Instead of sacrificing your forehead, I built BOD VAAIT—a simple interactive experience that lets you digitally let it all out. One button. Instant satisfaction. Back to focusing on what matters. I'm Dhruthi Sanjay Bhandarkar, a Product Design student, and BOD VAAIT was inspired by a feeling I've experienced countless times myself. As someone who spends hours designing, iterating, debugging, and working against deadlines, I wanted to create something that acknowledged those moments of frustration with a bit of humor instead of another productivity system. Built entirely in Omma, this project explores how a simple interactive experience can turn a universally relatable emotion into a playful digital ritual—one that lets you laugh, reset, and get back to creating. Built Mogai for the Config Makeathon. Every semester, students create valuable notes, assignments, presentations, design projects, templates, and study resources. Most of that work gets forgotten after grading despite having the potential to help thousands of other students. That's why I built Mogai — a student-powered marketplace where students can discover, buy, sell, and share academic resources and digital products. To build Mogai, I explored an end-to-end workflow within the Figma ecosystem: • FigJam — Mapping the student ecosystem, identifying pain points, and refining the problem statement. • FigmaMCP — Researching marketplace patterns, creator economy models, user behavior, and platform structures to inform product decisions. • Figma Weave (https://www.linkedin.com/company/figmaweave/) — Organizing research, shaping the product narrative, and creating the pitch deck. • Figma Design — Designing a marketplace focused on trust, discoverability, creator ownership, and intuitive user flows. • Mogai HQ — Designing an internal founder and operations dashboard for moderation, growth, analytics, revenue, and creator management. • Figma Make — Transforming concepts into interactive prototypes and rapidly iterating on the experience. • Figma Pro — Enabling collaboration, publishing, reusable components, and AI-powered workflows that connected research, strategy, design, and prototyping into a seamless process. What started as a simple observation evolved into a complete marketplace ecosystem, founder dashboard, pitch narrative, and interactive prototype. Mogai is my exploration of how students can learn, earn, and share knowledge through a platform built specifically for them.
