Full-stack MERN developer turning ideas into apps
A 60-second motion graphic promo for PG Finder, a platform to search, book and manage PGs and hostels. Built the app with MERN and made this video using Claude. Live at pg-finder-bay.vercel.app (http://pg-finder-bay.vercel.app) PG-Finder π β from a classroom assignment to a tool people can actually use.
As an academic project, I set out to solve a problem every student and working professional knows too well β the painful, time-consuming search for a decent paying guest (PG) accommodation. Scattered listings, outdated info, and endless scrolling through WhatsApp groups made the process way harder than it needed to be.
So I built PG-Finder β a platform designed to make searching for PGs simple, fast, and frustration-free. From planning the architecture to writing every line of code, this project pushed me to think beyond the classroom and build something with real-world value.
It's still a work in progress, but I'm proud of how far it's come β and excited to keep improving it.

Vortex Engineering Works isn't a real company (yet) β it's a dev portfolio project I built to show what a serious B2B industrial site should look like. Think pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and boiler components... presented like the Fortune 500 clients they're chasing actually expect.
What's under the hood:
β‘ Full multi-page site β Home, About, Products & Services, Projects, Contact
β‘ Smooth dynamic image carousels showcasing products
β‘ Clean services/expertise grid + client showcase section
β‘ Stats & certifications section built for instant trust (ASME, IBR, QMS 9001)
β‘ Built with Next.js β fast, optimized, production-grade image delivery
No cookie-cutter templates. No generic "industrial business" clichΓ©s. Just a site designed to make a heavy-engineering company look as sharp as the machines they build.

(https://vortex-engineering-works.vercel.app/) Built an AI-powered "Notes" feature for Nexis, my full-stack MERN video platform π¬
Click "Notes" on any video and here's what happens under the hood: the request hits the server, which checks if notes already exist for that video. If not, it triggers a Gemini API call that first classifies the video β educational or non-educational.
β Educational videos get structured notes with key points, ready to review.
β Non-educational videos get a description of the visuals and mood instead.
The generated notes are cached in the database, so every future request for that video is instant β no repeated API calls.
One more step toward making Nexis feel less like a video feed and more like a smart content platform. π
