But I started wondering:
What if some thoughts aren't meant to be stored?
What if the most meaningful interaction wasn't "Save"—but "Let Go"?
That became the idea behind Secret Garden.

A private space for thoughts you no longer want to carry.
You can speak or type whatever is sitting quietly in your mind.
Then, instead of being saved, archived, or sent to the cloud, your words disappear forever.
In their place, a flower blooms.
The thought is gone.
Only the flower remains.
Each flower becomes part of a private garden—a collection not of memories, but of moments you've chosen to release.
I've always been inspired by the work of James Turrell and the way he transforms light, space, and perception into something deeply emotional.
His work often isn't about looking at an object—it's about experiencing a feeling.
I wanted Secret Garden to explore a similar idea in a digital space: not creating another tool to store information, but creating a small ritual that transforms an invisible emotional weight into something tangible and beautiful.
For this #Makeathon, I wanted to explore a different kind of interaction design: transforming deletion into something meaningful, and reimagining one of the oldest actions on the internet—"Save."
How I built it
I designed and prototyped the entire experience in Figma Make.
Starting with the emotional journey, I explored how a thought could transform into a flower through motion, animation, and interaction.
I used Figma Make to rapidly iterate on flows, experiment with the transformation sequence, and build a working prototype that feels more like a ritual than a traditional app.
The result is a simple question:
What if technology helped us keep less, instead of more?
