I do embroidery as a hobby alongside my design work. And honestly the most frustrating thing is finding a beautiful piece online and having zero idea how it was actually made. Which stitch goes where. What order. Where the needle even enters the fabric.

So I built REVERSE on Melius.

You upload any embroidery image. The AI breaks down every stitch it can see, names it, locates it, tells you how confident it is about each one. Then it reconstructs the sequence what was made first, what layers on top, where the needle enters and exits. Then it generates a clean visual instruction card for each stitch. Step number. Illustration. Thread weight. The one instruction that matters. And the one mistake you will probably make.

I tested it on two different pieces. A floral hoop and a basket arrangement. Both came back with detailed breakdowns I could actually use.

It is not perfect dense overlapping threadwork still confuses it and it flags that honestly with a confidence indicator instead of just guessing. But for anyone who has ever stared at an embroidery piece wondering how on earth someone made that — this gets you most of the way there.
