Hot take: AI got me more clients as a designer I feel like I've been getting more work as AI gets better. I don't see many people talking about this side of it.
A lot of clients come to me without good photography for their website. And convincing someone to invest in a photoshoot is hard when they can't picture what it would actually change.
Now I use Magnific to create the shots I have in mind and place them in the design as placeholders.
Suddenly, they get it.
They can see how the lighting, composition and setting work with their brand. The conversation goes from “do we really need new photos?” to “how do we shoot something like this?”
The AI images help me communicate the direction. The photographer gets a clearer brief. The client feels more confident investing in the real thing.
That's been my experience so far. Anyone else finding that AI is opening up more work for them?
