On the previous post, I had given you a short professional introduction about myself. Now, through the years of constant failures, painful learning curves and finally consistent success I developed core competencies and technical skills, which produced some turn-key achievements in my professional life. I will be highlighting that for the relevant audience.

5 years ago already, I have started my company and become an independent.
A lot has happened in those 5 years, and I’ve been lucky to experience so much. Even though I’m personally not very good at looking back at my own achievements, I’m still pretty proud that after 5 years I’m still going strong, that I’m able to pay my rent every month, and that I can see growth.
It’s definitely not always easy, and at times it takes a toll on my mental health, but I’m still glad I took the step to start freelancing 5 years ago.
In those 5 years I haven’t just created beautiful videos, I’ve given workshops to young people on creating videos, gave private lessons to people wanting to learn videomaking, made reviews, written an article and more.
How do I see the next 5 years? No idea, I’m already happy if I know what next week will look like
Big milestone 👏 Staying independent for 5 years is no small feat. Consistency & resilience quietly compound over time.
Working with US 🇺🇸 and World clients as a designer from Argentina 🇦🇷 changed me more than I expected.
🤔 What’s something you had to adjust when working with clients abroad?
I thought the challenge would be the design itself. Bigger brands, faster timelines. But that wasn’t the hard part, it was communication.
I remember replying to emails with things like, “I’ll try to have it by Friday.” To me, that meant commitment. But over time I realized that in most abroad teams, that sounds uncertain. They don’t want “I’ll try.” They want “Yes, confirmed.”
It’s not about being cold. I had to adjust and be more direct. Once I did, everything flowed better.
Working across cultures hasn’t just made me better at design, but made me more decisive and more confident in how I communicate.
