He found a cave and slept.
That night, he dreamt of two dinosaurs.
They sensed something was wrong.
"Our kind is disappearing.” They had warned their leader.
But he dismissed them. “We are too strong to fall.”
Then came the shift.Light. Tremor. Impact.
He woke up.
Beneath him laid fossilized bones.
Embedded in the rocks.
Nearby, another skeleton.
Two dinosaurs.
Side by side.
