Cats. That is the pitch, really.
This one brings together Rive, Singular.LIVE and overlays.uno to make a YouTube channel alert that is genuinely fun to mess about with. Multiple cat breeds, swappable colour schemes for the cats and the background, adjustable fonts and stroke weights, and animations with a bit of personality.
Everything is editable in real time from the control dashboard, so you can match it to your channel in about a minute and then spend twenty more picking which cat you like best.

My contribution to the challenge: a minimal live stream overlay for a FIS Big Air snowboarding event.
Three parts.
A leaderboard that doubles as an info display — call up any athlete and it becomes their card: personal details, results, run history.
A lower third with multiple states, including a scoreboard that fills as the judges come in.
And a technical overlay carrying the numbers behind each jump — take-off speed, airtime, height, distance.
Using Data Binding and Scripting, I wanted to find out how much of the actual event logic could live inside a single Rive file.
The file takes in judge scores and a handful of triggers — rider at the gate, dropping in, scores arrived, run over.
Custom scripts do the rest. Totals calculated to FIS judging rules, ranks updated, lead changes detected, every graphic on screen updated automatically. Nobody needs to prep the winner's graphic in advance. Just hit the button to fire it.
Ten years ago I worked on the live TV packages for the Red Bull Cliff Diving and Air + Style Snowboarding :World Tours.
Everything I built in After Effects had to be rebuilt from scratch by developers before it could go on air.
Rive would have made that a whole lot easier :)
Hi everyone! This is my very first Rive project.
Meet Star Dance Battle—a dreamy broadcast UI where competition meets a sky full of dancing stars. ☁️⭐
I created Star Dance Battle, a live broadcast UI concept for the @Rive × @Contra HQ Broadcast & Livestream Challenge. ✨
The experience is inspired by the energy of Red Bull Breakdance Bboy Battles and the excitement of live dance battles, but reimagined through a whimsical, dreamy world with a softer, more feminine aesthetic.
The stage takes place in a Cloud Kingdom, where every glowing star represents a happy memory or a small moment worth celebrating. As we go through life, we collect these little stars by recording the moments that make us smile. On difficult days, we can revisit this sky of memories and enter Dance Mode—immersing ourselves in music, movement, and the joyful reminders of what we've accomplished and experienced.
Built with Rive Scripting, Data Binding, ViewModels, nested animations, and state machines, the interface reacts dynamically to live match data—from score updates and voting progress to character animations and broadcast transitions—creating a playful and responsive live viewing experience.
My hope is that these interactions encourage people to celebrate both the big wins and the little moments that brighten everyday life.

Really like the Cloud Kingdom idea. It makes the whole concept feel unique and memorable.
Super excited to finally take part in my first Contra challenge! I’ve been diving into interactive broadcast design lately, and this project taught me so much about combining motion, data, and gameplay into one connected experience.
This is an interactive bowling broadcast package, combining a playable lane with dynamic 10-frame scoring cells, customizable player cards, responsive lower thirds, strike celebrations, and a final results screen. View Models, state machines, layouts, and custom scripting connect the gameplay and broadcast graphics into one responsive system.
Unfortunately, the project relies on a custom font that I cannot redistribute, so I’m unable to upload the editable file to the Rive Marketplace.:
