Most game character cards show you a fighter. These four give you a world before the first match starts.
Rai - blade of justice. Kai - fierce ronin fueled by raging power. Juno - frontline shield, strong and unbreakable. Yurei - silent ghost archer who vanishes instantly.
Four characters, four color worlds, one card system that makes every level feel like a collectible worth keeping.

The small glyph in the corner of each card — gear, crosshair, shield, bow — is doing more identity work than the color coding. It's the detail that would survive a black-and-white print of the set, which is a decent test for whether a system actually holds.

What sells this as a system and not four one-offs is that each character reads by silhouette and palette before I ever reach the name, so it holds up even at thumbnail size. The real test is whether a fifth or twentieth character could drop into the same frame without breaking the rhythm.
