I just shipped Trend Tap, a Figma plugin built for that moment when you know the vibe you want, but have no idea how to turn it into a useful AI prompt.
Trend Tap gives you a curated library of current visual trends, each paired with a ready-to-use image generation prompt. Pick a direction, copy the prompt, and keep designing.
No staring at an empty prompt box.
No trying to remember whether the magic word was “editorial,” “brutalist,” “xerox,” or something even more specific.
I built it because I kept running into the same problem myself: AI can generate almost anything, but getting to an interesting starting point still takes taste, references, and a lot of trial and error.
Trend Tap handles the starting point so you can spend more time actually making something.
A curated trend library paired with ready-to-use prompts is exactly the kind of tool that saves an afternoon of doom-scrolling Pinterest. What made you pair each trend with a prompt instead of just building a moodboard library?
Moodboard libraries are great, I just wanted something immediate in Figma so I wouldn't lose focus. The doom-scroll struggle is real, even in MidJourney!
Which trend has people tapping the most since launch? Solving the doom scroll to prompt problem feels like such a specific, relatable itch for anyone who has burned an hour just hunting for the right reference.
Haven't tied analytics to it but that's a great thing to add for the next build! Honestly, it's just great at producing images for the brand you feed it! here's some random design stickers and then using "imperfect minimalism" on my lowercase 'g' that I use for my branding.
Wellix two homepage directions. Which one would you pick?
Wellix is an AI tool that reads health records and explains them in plain language lab results, scans, and charts turned into something a person can actually understand without a medical background.
Same brand, same palette, same illustration just two different ways of arranging the hero.
Which one would you go with, A or B? Drop a comment I'd like to hear which one lands better for you.
