One of the biggest challenges with AI video isn’t generating a beautiful shot, it’s directing an entire sequence with consistency and control. For our latest portfolio piece, we treated the production more like a traditional commercial. Before generating the final footage, we built the full spot as a 3D previsualization in Blender. Every camera angle, movement, framing choice, character position, vehicle placement, shot length, and cut was planned in advance. That previs became a visual blueprint for the AI video model, helping us guide each shot instead of relying on prompts alone. We also created dedicated character, vehicle, and environment sheets to keep the woman, car, and mansion consistent throughout the film. The most interesting part of the process was seeing how much more control previs adds to AI filmmaking. You can establish pacing before generation, test ideas quickly, make changes earlier, and give the model much clearer direction. The goal wasn’t just to create an AI commercial. It was to explore how traditional directing, 3D previs, and generative video can work together as one production pipeline. See the full work
