Appointment Booking Automation
To solve the problem of missed sales calls, I developed this make.com automation that acts as a 24/7 ai receptionist. The system uses Vapi AI to handle inbound voice calls, which then triggers a make.com scenario to check real-time availability in a Google Calendar via API. If a slot is free, the agent books the meeting and pushes the lead data into Monday CRM. I also built in a workflow automation fallback that sends a "Booking Failed" notification to the team if a conflict occurs, proving why a robust make.com fix and error-handling logic are essential for high-volume automation.
