Instead, I went back to Art Nouveau, where typography, illustration, architecture, and ornament were treated as one visual system.
The subject actually felt surprisingly natural for the era. Art Nouveau was heavily inspired by nature, craftsmanship, beauty, and organic forms, all ideas that still show up constantly in skincare branding today.
One rule I refused to break: the decoration had to belong to the composition. It couldn't just be added on top to make something “look vintage.”

Reimagining modern skincare through Art Nouveau is such a refreshing take. Integrated ornamentation rather than surface-level decoration gives the packaging a deeply authentic, organic weight. Would love to see an electro functional tech brand reimagined in a Bauhaus or Brutalist framework!
Barra Norte Café — Fast-Paced Motion Ad About the Benefits of Coffee
Description:
This short-form advertising video was created for Barra Norte Café to transform an informative topic — the benefits of coffee — into a dynamic, modern piece of content designed for social media and digital advertising.
The project combined script development, voice-over narration, motion graphics, fast transitions, typography, lifestyle imagery, coffee preparation scenes, and rhythmic editing to maintain attention from the first seconds to the final brand message.
The visual structure was developed around the narration. Each benefit mentioned is reinforced by corresponding imagery, creating a clear connection between what the audience hears and what they see. This makes the information easier to absorb while maintaining a strong commercial pace.
The video uses quick cuts, animated typography, overlays, reframing, zooms, and motion transitions to keep the content visually engaging. Close-ups of coffee preparation, cups, espresso, and lifestyle moments add sensory appeal and strengthen the association between coffee, energy, routine, focus, and enjoyment.
The final sequence reinforces Barra Norte Café, transforming the content from a simple informational video into a complete advertising piece with a clear brand presence.
Its short vertical format was also planned for multiple applications, including Instagram Reels, Stories, Shorts, paid campaigns, elevator screens, hotels, shopping centers, reception areas, and digital signage, where communication needs to be fast, clear, and visually impactful.
The result is a video that combines information, storytelling, branding, motion design, and commercial communication in a concise and engaging format.
