I contributed to the development of a distributed enterprise platform built around microservices, APIs, authentication, and data-intensive backend services.
My role involved implementing and maintaining backend functionality, integrating services, designing API contracts, handling persistence, and supporting frontend applications consuming the platform.
A significant part of the work involved translating complex business requirements into maintainable software while ensuring that different components of the system could communicate reliably and securely.
Key areas of work included:
Spring Boot microservices
REST API design and implementation
Service-to-service integrations
Authentication and role-based authorization
Relational and NoSQL data persistence
Data mapping and transformation
Error handling and validation
Backend integration with Angular applications
Maintenance and evolution of existing services
Troubleshooting complex production issues
The project strengthened my experience in building maintainable backend systems, integrating distributed components, and working with large production applications where reliability, security, and data consistency are critical.
