I’ve worked with names like HubSpot, eSmartSystems, and Coverforce, along with a lot of entrepreneurs that nobody has heard of yet, although hopefully that will change soon.

At the end of the day, whether we want it or not, a presentation is a simple tool. The same goes for a website or an app. They help show that your business is serious and worth listening to, but they’ll always be tools.

What I do, and I’m sure several of you do as well, is make sure people, your customers, feel confident about what they’ve got and are prepared to do what they’ve got to do, whatever that is.

They’re seeking help from someone who can prepare them for the next milestone, and that’s much bigger than simply having good design at their hands.

I wanted to see how far I could push simplicity. Instead of asking merchants to interpret dozens of charts and KPIs, the experience starts with a single health score that quickly communicates the current state of the business. From there, supporting metrics provide just enough context before guiding attention to the one issue that matters most. The goal was to reduce cognitive load without sacrificing confidence in the data.
